Get ready to listen in. :)
I have 2 blogs up and running, but since I went public with this one I think I'm going to shut the other one down. I went back through the other one and was reading a lot of my posts... so many of them were so negative, which is what I am trying to get away from. So, I deleted all the negative posts and will probably be sharing a lot of the other ones with you guys.
DAY CAMP!
I am very sad that day camp ends tomorrow! :( I miss being in high school... (ONLY the summers)... because I got to spend the entire summer traveling, praising and worshiping Jesus and sharing Him with others with the most awesome youth group & leaders ever! That is SO much more fun than having to be a grown up with a real job.Today Janet taught the
It's easy to talk about establishing clear priorities for maintaining physical and spiritual health, but it's much more difficult live according to those priorities.
Good advice: If you're having trouble prioritizing your day --or if you're having trouble sticking to a plan that enhances your spiritual and physical health --perhaps you've been trying to organize your life according to your own plants, not God's. A better strategy, of course, is to take your daily obligations and place them in the hands of the One who created you.
^Preaching to the choir on this one.
Another good piece of advice that is directly for me... If you would like to embark upon a personal journey to better fitness you should remind yourself that on every step of that journey, you have a traveling companion: your Heavenly Father. Turn the concerns of this day over to Him --prayerfully, earnestly and often. And trust Him to give you the strength you need to become the kind of person He wants you to become.
^The very last sentence of that is what I need to be reminded of daily! I cannot become a personal trainer on my own. God is going to have to be with me EVERY STEP of the way! That is where I have gone wrong for so long; I have tried to do it on my own. I need to start my own "personal training" session with God every day before I can try to do anything else. *Please someone pray for this & keep me accountable!* I want more than just to go through this book every day. My goal for 2011 was to read through the Bible... I got about 16 days in and got off track! I started with Genesis... and just within those first 16 days... I learned SO much that I never knew before. I honestly have never read much of the Bible on my own before, much less have tried to read the entire book. I want to make a huge family tree while going through the Bible... because I didn't know that some of those people were that closely related... maybe I'll get that accomplished! :)Vow to make yourself an expert on the care and feeding of the body that God has given you.
Like I have said before I am super excited to be taking a nutrition classes this summer! I can't wait to learn how to take care of my body, correctly! :)

Life is a glorious gift from God. Treat it that way!
Sometimes, we don't intentionally neglect God; we simply allow ourselves to become overwhelmed with the demands of every day life. Thankfully, God never drifts away from us. He remains always present, always steadfast, always loving.
GETTING HONEST
Write down ways that you can be more proactive about your health.

-Eating more fruits/veggies.
-Drinking a lot more water.

Okay so.... I don't like veggies except carrots, salad, spinach, cucumbers... and that's about it. So one way that I add in veggies to one meal is...
Sam's Homemade Pizza
*Wheat Crust from Wal-mart
*Whatever sauce and cheese you like.

*Squash, zucchini, and spinach leaves.
^Put all these veggies in a food processor and grind them up in small pieces...
add them to the sauce with the spices of your choice... cook... and enjoy.
You get the pizza you love with the healthy veggies that you'll never know are in there! ;-)
Here is one that I posted in August 2010. It's titled "Addiction."
You are a disease. You have taken over my life.
I can't control the impulses.
You are killing me, faster than I realize.
I can't control the impulses.
You are killing me, faster than I realize.
You have become my addiction.I'm always thinking about you.
You make me physically ill.
But why can't I stop?

How do I change my life?
How can I take it back & make it mine?
How can I take it back & make it mine?
This has become a serious problem.
I'm struggling to hang on.
I'm drowning in my ownself-destruction.

Please save me, before it's too late.
How can I stop this from destroying my life?
Why do I have no self-control?
How do I change this behavior?

When did I stop loving myself?
Why have I let it go this far?
