Congratulations! It’s a girl!
My family is now complete! :)
She is a 1 ½ old German Shepherd. She is full of life and a total sweet
heart! I have had her barely 24 hours
and I am completely in love with her!!
She is imperfectly perfect!
Her previous owners got her to be his police dog
but since they have a 2 year old and one on the way and about to move they just
didn’t have the time to devote to her.
I have been looking for a GSD for months, ever
since Sassy passed away last year things just haven’t been the same with a
sweet girl in my life. I love Chester to
death and I am so glad to have him & wouldn’t trade him!
On Craigslist you only find people that are
selling puppies… So… I actually found Marley on craigslist. I was a little nervous but the more I talked
to the guy the better I felt about it.
Marley is a hot mess! But I love her so
much! She has forever long legs. And one lazy ear which I like. :) The only thing I don’t like is she slobbers a
lot and is a messier drinker than Chester… I didn’t know that was
possible! She is goofy and so
sweet. She is scared of fast movements
but she isn’t afraid to take Chester’s toys or play with him.
Last night, Sydney came over to meet her &
was ready to play! Chester kind of plays with Sydney when he wants to, but
nothing like her and Sassy did! Well,
anytime that she whimpered Chester would jump in the middle and stand up for
his little sister and go after Sydney.
It was so sweet of him!
Although this morning I think he is a little
stressed out! She follows him everywhere
and wants to be with him. Poor
Chester!
She has already been through beginner obedience,
has recently had all of her shots & been spayed! Thank goodness! Now I just need to get her micro-chipped… but
I can’t do that until I figure out what name I want for her… she doesn’t really
come to anything I have called her so far.
She is a mischievous little thing! I came home to trash strung across the floor
& she grabbed the cats food bowl… which is in the utility room… behind a
gate with a little cat door… we assume that she stuck her leg through the
little door and pulled it to her because she is too big to fit through the
small hole.
“Dog have a way of finding the people who need them,
filling an emptiness we don’t even know we have.” :)
